What this site collects, and why.

Every form on this site asks for your name, email address and phone number. The enquiry, estimate and consultation forms also ask which service you want and for a description of your project.

We save what you send in our database and email it to the Costar Construction Inc. team, so a person can reply to you. The email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service.

When you download the company profile or a project feature sheet, we also record which file you asked for.

When you upload a photo of a room, the photo is sent to Google's Gemini image service, which creates the new design. The photo and the design are also emailed to the Costar team each time a design is made, before you have given any contact details.

If you ask to save the image or request a quote, we also receive your name, email address and phone number, and we send you a copy of the design by email.

Your browser remembers on this device that you have used the free design. It is kept in the browser's local storage and you can clear it in your browser settings.

When you type an address into the address box, the text you type is sent from our server to VanPlex's address lookup, which returns the matching addresses. When you open a report, you leave this site for vanplex.ca. VanPlex runs its own service and has its own rules for the data it receives.

On the live site we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use. Google Analytics can store small files (cookies) in your browser. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation are switched off.

The site also records which links you click, for example the phone number, the social media icons and the download forms. It does not record what you type in a form for statistics.

Links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google, REW and other sites lead to services that run under their own privacy rules. The REW video loads from YouTube only after you press play.
